Adamant dragons are a metal dragon accessible after completion of Dragon Slayer II.
They can be found in the Lithkren Vault after the quest in the western chamber. To get back to the laboratory, players can travel using the rowboat from the quest or, after completion, taking a digsite pendant and using it on the strange machine north of the rune dragon room, adding a teleport straight to Lithkren on it.
Adamant dragons have multiple attacks, similar to mithril and rune dragons. Along with standard dragonfire attacks, they have a standard Melee, Ranged and Magic attack, as well as two unique attacks:
- An area-of-effect poison projectile is launched, which deals less damage while under the effect of any poison protection, and can be avoided entirely by walking away from where it lands.
- A Ranged attack that takes the effect of enchanted ruby bolts, in which the dragon will deal 20% of the player's hitpoints at the cost of 10% of theirs. This hits through Protect from Missiles.

Trivia
- Upon release, adamant dragons had a 1/5 chance of their dragon bones drop being replaced by superior dragon bones. This was removed from their drop table in an update on 25 January 2018 as part of a balancing change.
