The Desert Diary is a set of achievement diaries relating to the Kharidian Desert and its surrounding area, released on 5 March 2015.

To complete all of the tasks, players will need the stats shown to the right.

Please note you must do the easy tasks first in order to claim rewards from medium, hard or elite

7. Collect 5 potato cacti from the Kalphite Lair. None None Rope, some food to defend against Kalphite Soldiers. An Antipoison is recommended. (Tip: You can drop and pick up the same cacti five times.)
8. Sell some artifacts to Simon Templeton. None None Any Pyramid Plunder artifact (e.g. Stone scarab)

(Note: The golden artifact from the top of the Agility Pyramid does not count.)

9. Open the sarcophagus in the first room of Pyramid Plunder. Started Icthlarin's Little Helper 21 Thieving-icon A Pharaoh's sceptre can be used to enter Pyramid Plunder without the need to start Icthlarin's Little Helper.
10. Cut a desert cactus open to fill a waterskin. None None Knife, empty waterskin

1. Climb to the summit of the Agility Pyramid. None 30 Agility-icon Waterskins and Desert robes recommended. NOTE: DO NOT enter the doorway at the summit. Instead, climb the climbing rocks on the west side of the block with the doorway in it.
2. Slay a desert lizard. None 22 Slayer-icon Ice cooler
3. Catch an orange salamander. None 47 Hunter-icon At least 1 rope and small fishing net
4. Steal a Phoenix feather from the Desert phoenix. None 25 Thieving-icon None. BEWARE: You may already have a Phoenix quill pen in your bank from The Golem quest, which won't allow you to get another feather.
5. Travel to Uzer via magic carpet. The Golem None 200 coins
6. Travel to the desert via the Eagle transport system. Eagles' Peak None Rope
7. Pray at the Elidinis Statuette in Nardah. Spirits of the Elid None None. Must have less than full prayer points.
