Dharok's greataxe is part of Dharok the Wretched's set of equipment. It requires 70 Attack and 70 Strength to wield. If players are wielding this axe with the rest of the set, they will be subject to a passive effect which increases their maximum hit as their Hitpoints are lowered. The highest possible hit with this weapon is 100 damage against living foes. Because of this, it is often used as a "knock-out" weapon in PvP scenarios, as its high hits can easily finish off an injured player with one large blow. Dharok's greataxe currently has the fourth highest strength bonus of any weapon in Old School RuneScape, beaten by the crystal halberd, the godsword, and the elder maul.
In order to be able to hit the maximum damage, the player needs to have one hitpoint remaining at a Hitpoints level of 99, drinking a super combat potion or an overload either from the Nightmare Zone or from Chambers of Xeric, piety, and being equipped with barrows gloves, primordial/dragon boots, an amulet of torture/strength, an infernal cape and a berserker ring (i).
