Monsters who have access to the rare drop table have a chance of dropping cut dragonstones or they can be looted from a dragon impling jar. They can also be stolen from Wilderness Rogues' Chests (requires 84 Thieving). An uncut dragonstone is guaranteed to be found in the crystal chest in Taverley when using a crystal key on it, with a chance of other specific items.
The dragonstones occasionally found in the Mage Training Arena minigame are different from normal dragonstones because the Mage Training Arena "dragonstones" cannot be taken outside the enchanting chamber; furthermore, they provide pizazz points when any enchantment spell is used on them.
A cut dragonstone can be cut into 12 dragonstone bolt tips by using a chisel on it at level 71 Fletching, granting 8 Fletching experience. Attempting to do this will bring up a message asking if the player is sure that they want to do so as the gems are considered valuable.
Dragonstones can be forged in a furnace with a gold bar and the appropriate mould to produce the following jewellery, which can then be targeted with Lvl-5 Enchant for additional functionality. When enchanted and charged, dragonstone jewellery is currently the only other means of teleportation that works up to level 30 Wilderness aside from the royal seed pod and the slayer ring.
