The Feldip Weasel is actually a kebbit, not a weasel. A player would have to track the Feldip Weasel with a noose wand from their burrow. They are not seen roaming about like other kebbits such as the wild kebbit. However, players see them when pulling them out with a noose wand.

Habitat[]

This monster lives in the jungle west of the crimson swifts, south of Feldip Hills. It is easier to find them if players find the hunter master there and go south from there.

Hunting[]

To hunt the kebbit, start by inspecting a burrow until a trail of tracks appear. Follow the end of the tracks and continue by searching or inspecting nearby bushes and jungle plants until the chat box has a message that reads: "It looks like there might be something hiding in this bush." Right click on the bush with a noose wand equipped, and select the attack option. One feldip weasel fur, one raw beast meat, and bones will appear in your inventory, with the message: "You manage to noose a Feldip weasel that is hiding in the bush." Attempting to attack the bush without a noose wand equipped causes the trail to reset and a failure to catch the kebbit.

Strategy[]

There are two possible burrows from which to start. Unless you are all the way east, start with the west burrow as it involves less running and therefore faster experience.

There are a total of ten nodes. Whenever you find a trail by searching a Jungle plant, a path to an adjacent node will be revealed.

The feldip weasel will always be found in the next bush after you successfully search 3 Jungle plants. You may simply right-click and attack the next bush without searching the bush. Note that if the next node contains no bush or contains a burrow, you will have to search a 4th Jungle plant to get to the next bush.

Each node has 3 links to adjacent nodes. However, a trail cannot backtrack, so you will always have at most two links to search. Search the link nearest to you, then the second link that points in the other direction. It is also important to know that although one kebbit may visit the same node twice, it will never go across the same link twice. Therefore, in some cases you may know with 100% certainty which Jungle plant to search.

With the above strategy, you can hunt approximately 120 feldip weasels per hour, which is equivalent to 5760 experience per hour.

Ring of pursuit may help with speeding up the process of levelling up.
