Frogburger detail

Frogburgers are a hamburger-like dish popular amongst the Dorgeshuun cave goblins that inhabit Dorgesh-Kaan. The dish itself is relatively simple, consisting of big frog meat between two buns. When eaten, frogburgers heal 2 hitpoints.

Frogburgers are one of many Dorgeshuun dishes to include frog as an ingredient. The caves beneath Misthalin are home to several species of frog, and as such they have been a staple of the Dorgeshuun diet since their descent beneath the surface during the God Wars. Coated frogs' legs, frog spawn, frogspawn gumbo, and roast frog are also commonly eaten by the Dorgeshuun, and are all drawn from the caves' abundant frog population. Unlike most Dorgeshuun dishes, however, frogburgers include bread, a food not common amongst the Dorgeshuun because wheat cannot be grown beneath the surface. Because of this, it is likely that the bread is made from a subterranean resource other than grain, or that the bread was brought to the city by surface-dwellers following the city's opening during the Death to the Dorgeshuun quest.

Players may obtain frogburgers in Dorgesh-Kaan, the Dorgeshuun capital. They are sold by Durgok for 10 coins in the city's marketplace. Alternatively, players with at least level 36 Thieving can pickpocket the cave goblins that wander the city, with a chance to receive frogburgers, amongst other things. Because players will sustain damage should they fail to pickpocket the Dorgeshuun, stolen frogburgers are often eaten by players to recover life points lost when thieving. However, other than in this capacity, frogburgers are not commonly used by players to restore life points because they are not tradeable, slow to obtain, and heal only 2 life points.

Should players speak to the spit goblin near the sandpit in Dorgesh-Kaan, they may ask if the goblin will give them some of the frog meat being cooked. The goblin mentions that players can buy frogburgers at the market, implying that they are currently popular.
