Lunar rocks (Stalagmites in game) are rare rocks that can only be mined by players with 60 Mining during the Lunar Diplomacy quest. Lunar ore is mined at the stalagmites in the western part of the dungeon in north-east Lunar Isle. Players are permitted to have only one ore at a time; if the player attempts to mine more than one, they will receive the message "You already have some special ore - you don't need any more."
The ore is destroyed immediately if dropped, so a player cannot duplicate the ore with the drop trick. It can be smelted into a lunar bar through the Smithing skill and then made into a lunar helm. Other than that, the ore has no other use.
