Old School Mobile is an upcoming version of Old School RuneScape announced on 17 July 2017. It will allow players to play Old School RuneScape on their mobile devices (RuneScape 3 will have a separate app). It will work cross-platform with players on PC, and players will be able to play using the same characters as they do on their desktop clients.[1]

Old School Mobile was originally planned for release in Winter 2017 but this has been delayed. It is now scheduled to undergo a closed beta testing phase in January 2018. Players can sign up to express their interest in joining the beta. Selection for participation will be based on account standing and device type.[2]

Old School Mobile will be available for free on iOS and Android.[3]

At RuneFest 2017, players had the chance to play Old School RuneScape Mobile on the live servers.
