Old School Mobile is an upcoming version of Old School RuneScape announced on 17 July 2017. It will allow players to play Old School RuneScape on their mobile devices (RuneScape 3 will have a separate app). It will work cross-platform with players on PC, and players will be able to play using the same characters as they do on their desktop clients.[1]

At RuneFest 2017, players had the chance to play Old School RuneScape Mobile on the live servers.

Old School Mobile was originally planned for release in Winter 2017 but this has been delayed. A technical beta involving 2,000 players ran from 2 February 2018 to 8 February 2018. A second beta involving 5,431 players ran from 13 April 2018 to 19 April 2018.

Players can sign up to express their interest in joining future tests. Selection for participation will be based on account standing and device type.[2]

Old School Mobile will be available for free on iOS and Android.[3]
