The Saradomin max cape is a cape that is created by using a Saradomin cape on a max cape. When created, the max hood is also converted to the corresponding hood. The cape can be used to perform the skillcape emote.
Like the other max cape variants (max cape mixed with another cape), the Saradomin max cape does not have max cape's stats or perks; it only acts as a cosmetic upgrade to Saradomin cape.
Mac will purchase excess max capes for 1,821,600 coins. This can only be done if the player has both the hood and cape in their inventory. Other max cape variants can be refunded in the same manner.
Upon release, players were able to own all three god-max capes at once, and dropping it on the ground will not result in it instantly disappearing. This was stated by Mod Maz to be intentional, with Mod Ash adding that "at those kinds of stats, perhaps it's a perk"[1].
However, as of an update on March 24 2016, if a player attempts to pick up a different god cape (regular or max variant) from the ground while they have a cape from a conflicting god, the max cape is reverted to its regular variant. The change was intentional as Mod Ash had stated that the rule for god capes is that players "shouldn't have capes from conflicting gods"[2]
